We have good news for Chicago Bulls’ fans.
Even if the Warriors finish the season with seven wins in a row and another NBA championship, they will not beat the 1995-96 Bulls’ combined regular season/playoff record. That’s official after Tuesday night’s whupping against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
At best, Golden State can get to a 89-14 record (86.4 percent). The ’96 Bulls finished with a 87-13 mark (87 percent) after losing only three games in the postseason.
Probably the least of the Warriors’ worries right now, but pretty sure this will make some Chicagoans happy.
