* Joe Johnson is in the market and drawing serious interest from contenders. Veteran guard Andre Miller is also available and Kevin Martin could join him pretty soon. It’s shaping up to be a strong buyout season after all.

* Knicks forward Carmelo Antony is pretty tired of all the losing and the incessant trade rumors. FYI: Melo has 56.2 percent winning record in his NBA career, which is more than decent.

* Ken Berger of CBSSports.com reports James Harden pushed for Houston to get rid of both Kevin McHale and Dwight Howard. The Rockets deny everything.

* Greg Monroe may be having second thoughts about signing with the Milwaukee Bucks.

* Numbers that will help Hassan Whiteside in free agency.

* Still no clarity on Chris Bosh’s health situation.

* Assist of the year courtesy of Isaiah Thomas.

A reminder that the Boston Celtics traded peanuts to land him.

* Man, the 2000 NBA draft was awful. Members of that class combined for a total of three All-Star appearances.

* Jeff Van Gundy calls Toronto the most underrated team in basketball.

* Let’s be outrageous: Stephen Jackson says his Warriors could beat Stephen Curry’s Warriors.

* Dwight Howard recalls the time Kanye West rapped ‘Yeezus’ for him in a maternity ward.
