Slam is putting together a ranking of NBA players and just placed Carmelo Anthony, who has graced the cover of the magazine six times, at No. 15. The 32-year-old forward didn’t take that well and wrote on Instagram Slam has now lost all credibility in his eyes.
Melo’s not-so-stellar ranking on Slam’s list is actually consistent with others we’ve seen recently, though. NBA 2K gave him a rating of 88, good for the No. 15 spot in the video game. Sports Illustrated put him at No. 24 last month.
Ten players received MVP votes last season and Anthony was not among them. He was also left off the All-NBA Teams with 31 players getting more votes than him. The last time he made an All-NBA Team was in 2013.
