On Saturday, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin declared Oct. 29, 2016, “Enes Kanter Day,” honoring the Thunder center for his play and his community work since arriving in Oklahoma City during the 2014-15 season.
“It was a surprise,” Kanter said. “I wasn’t asking for Enes Kanter Day. It’s pretty cool.”
In Sunday’s 113-96 Thunder win, Kanter had an efficient 16 points (8-of-11 shooting) and six rebounds in just 22 minutes …
