Remember this bed? We posted it back in 2015 when it was a Kickstarter project, and now it’s available as a hardware kit as well. That allows you to source your own panels from your local hardware store, or, for the more adventurous, maybe even from a salvage yard. Pretty fun and very affordable, seeing as the hardware kit starts at $265 for a queen bed.
Engineered to be modular and sturdy, the Floyd Bed is an answer to a renter’s prayers. It’s both minimal and low-profile, and slots together thanks to metal supports and two tensioning straps. It’s easy to assemble and disassemble, and thus move from place to place when the time comes.
Made by the same smarties that brought us the Floyd Leg.
The Floyd Bed Framework, $235 – $295
The Floyd Platform Bed, including panels, with or without headboard, $489 – $1,045
