How to keep your cheese visually separated from your baguette and/or crackers? By reminding your family/guests that the cheese stays on the marble circle dammit(!). But you’re not obsessive compulsive, are you, so you wouldn’t say something like that and you surely wouldn’t mind a few crumbs encroaching upon your beloved cheese… right? Especially when the pairing of a solid walnut cutting board looks so nice against a white (or dark) marble circle. The parts can be separated and used individually (marble=trivet).
