Detroit's owner and Coach Tom Izzo are extremely tight, so aside from proximity there's a connection here. Also Van Gundy wants tough-nosed players and preferably ones that can come in and produce. Denzel's knees are a concern, but scouts feel a team in the late teens like Detroit could look past that and draft him anyway. |

Luwawu gives the Suns an athletic 3-and-D type of player to develop for the future. On tape, he looks like a lottery pick, but for those familiar with him, there are concerns about his attitude and feel for the game.
