Eddie Johnson announces his retirement from the NBA too

Almost 27 months removed from his last NBA game, Ray Allen announced his retirement from the league on Tuesday with an article on The Players’ Tribune. HoopsHype’s Eddie Johnson never officially announced his retirement from the NBA, so he took a page from Allen’s book and did just that on Sirius XM NBA Radio – even though the timing is a bit off considering he last played in 1999.

For the record: Johnson is No. 50 in the all-time NBA scoring list, only 28 spots behind Allen.
