The Orlando Magic are finalizing plans for Lakeland, FL as the site of their future D-League affiliate, league sources tell D-League Digest. The team will play at The Lakeland Center and is expected to be in place for the 2017-18 season. Lakeland was one of eight locations targeted in the Magic’s original proposal. The two finalists were Lakeland and Kissimmee.
